My Work From Home Journey
I was struggling. I quit my job in adult education because it just wasn’t me. It wasn’t the education that I didn’t like, it was the system. It was rigid and I was overwhelmed with paperwork. It had been a year and a half already and I hadn’t found another decent paying job. I had part-time, fill-in, contract work that came in drips, very small drips. My husband was working a job 4 hours away, because there was nothing available nearby. I knew I had to start my own business. Today. I had to create my own income. But how?
I like where I live. Why should I move?I live in the White Mountains of Arizona on the White Mountain Apache reservation. The area is very rural, and most people who live here eek out a living by being some kind of contractor. Working at Wal-mart is considered a good, steady job. Finding a job for someone with a Masters of Science in these parts was nearly impossible. As well, my son was out of district for the school he attends and I had to drop him off and pick him up everyday. There was no bus service. Working an 8 or 9 dollar an hour job and putting him in after school care just didn’t add up. Do the math. What's the deal with making money online? I knew the internet was the best bet to build a business and gain some kind of customer base. But how? I had been trying that on and off for over 2 years. I had a website. No traffic. I read about internet marketing. I had lots of pieces, but no idea how to fit them together. One day, I clicked on a link in a sustainable living website that said work from home. I was offered this free e-book.
Wow! This book had all the puzzle pieces put together in a system. This was great.Click on the link and download it yourself. The book shows step by step how to create a website that creates income.
